Wenatchee Foothills
Chelan County, Washington
Chelan-Douglas Land Trust
Fees: none
Activity: hiking
Elevation: 1000'-2500'
Current status (as of 11/17/24): not blooming
Notes: There are a LOT of trails in the Wenatchee Foothills; the map on this page only shows one possible low-elevation traverse in the northern section. The Castle Rock Trail is a little further south, and beyond that is Saddle Rock. (These three areas are separated by stretches of private property, so there's no single route on the map that could cover all of them.) The Chelan-Douglas Land Trust's Web site has excellent trail maps for the entire area.
Peak wildflower bloom in the Wenatchee Foothills is typically from early April through late May, but there may be some flowers blooming from mid-March until mid-June.*
