Notes: The full Rogue River National Recreation Trail is 40 miles long, but you can do a short day hike along the north side of the river from Grave Creek or Marial/Rogue River Ranch. On the east side (Grave Creek), you can also choose to hike along the south side of the river for a couple of miles (on the Rainie Falls Trail); the wildflowers are quite different on the shady side of the valley.
Peak wildflower bloom on the Rogue River Trail is typically from early April through May into mid-June, but there may be some flowers blooming from early March until early July.*
