Jefferson Park
Marion County, Oregon
Willamette National Forest
Fees: NW Forest Pass
Activity: hiking
Elevation: 4115'-5900'
Current status (as of 1/22/25): not blooming
Notes: There are four trailheads you can use to get into Jefferson Park: the Whitewater Trailhead is easy to access and a relatively easy hike; Breitenbush Lake is by far the most scenic but lies at the junction of two truly horrible roads (one from the west and one from the north); South Breitenbush is a nice change of pace but the trail is very rocky; and Woodpecker Ridge is a little longer but less crowded.
Peak wildflower bloom at Jefferson Park is typically from late June through July into late August, but there may be some flowers blooming from early June until early September.*
