Notes: The map on this page shows a cross-country route suggested by the US Forest Service on their "Wildflower Viewing Areas" web site. There is also an official Gillem Bluff Trail in Lava Beds National Monument that climbs the face of the bluff from a trailhead a couple of miles further north.

Peak wildflower bloom at Gillem Bluff is typically from late April through May into late June, but there may be some flowers blooming from early April until mid-July.*
