Notes: The main reason to go to Castle Crags is the amazing scenery. But if you look closely, there are also a few endemic wildflowers tucked into the granite. (And while you're in the neighborhood, be sure to head west on Castle Creek Road and check out the Shasta-Trinity Divide.)
Peak wildflower bloom at Castle Crags is typically from early June through the end of July, but there may be some flowers blooming from early May until the end of August.*
