Discussion | Subspecies gracilis is adventive in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and western Tennessee. The record from Iowa was based on Gilly & MacDonald 827, reported to be in the Parsons College herbarium, now at ISTC. The specimen has not been relocated.
